Gap Ad for Isabella!

Remember cute Isabella that we featured on the blog not too long ago? She's one of our Ford clients that landed a national GAP ad!

Congrats to ISABELLA! She was so fun during her portoflio shoot---she and mom drove up from the bay area and hung out with us for an afternoon---here are a few more from her portfolio (below) and also the original FEAUTURE we posted on our blog a few months ago:

 

 

Teen Style Session

In a few short years you'll see her on our Senior Site as a Spokesmodel---in the meantime, we did a style session with Tori (thanks to Sara Williams for make-up and styling!) for a photo submit to Ford Models...

I work with lots of Ford Models and I have to say that Tori is a natural when it comes to being photogenic! Watch for a sneak peek of a Ford-submit session with her brother as well in a few days!

Here's adorable Sarah...she has the sweetest disposition! I know I say that often, but it just amazes me how sweet-hearted my clients are!

Ford knew they found a cutie with this one and signed her for 3 years---so we'll be seeing a lot of her in print ads and more!

This little girl is 4 and has the most adorable little personality...and her smile just never went away!

I typically like to get some serious looks in my work, especially to showcase the eyes, but this little one couldn't help but SMILE and since Ford preferes the happy faces anyway, I was content to keep capturing her happy little face!

Little Neela went on her very first go-see for Ford...and landed an exciting ad! She will soon be seen in BABY GAP ads all over the country! We'll be doing a photo session with her little sister soon also to be a Ford Model!

This 4 year old is on his way to being seen in many print ads and commercials...and he stole my heart during this photo session! Ford Models had it right the day they signed this little guy up!

Another Ford Model

on the rise!

This young lady is almost 12 and if she doesn't have the look for modeling I don't know who does! She and mom drove to Sacramento to update her portfolio for Ford this past week and I can't wait to see her modeling career explode! Not to mention her film career--she loves acting and is signed with Generations/San Francicso as well as Ford Models.

She has the most incredible smile and eyes...and the sweetest heart EVER. She can look 12 and she can look 17 without looking overdone...something that is very important for print work in the industry. Thanks to to Sara Williams for her beautiful artistry in Make Up, Hair and Styling. I love working with her!

You may have seen this adorable and fun little girl in a recent Mervyn's commercial---or Mervyn's or Macy's print ad!

She's updating her portfolio and we had a fun time just playing, laughing, and talking about serious stuff---like kindergarten recess and the important events of the day in the life of a little 6 year old.

I couldn't stop laughing with little miss Catalina...she's a very special little girl! And you're sure to see lots more of her soon the next time you turn on the TV or pick up a national publication! She's a rising little star, this one!

And in addition to this special sneak-peek for Catalina and her family, here is a special little photo of her younger brother...he's a cute one too! He hung out with us on this special photo shoot...with another little one hiding in the wings!

A little Ford Model...

This little one already has a great big contract with Ford Models...and I'm sure you can see why. Is she cute or WHAT!?! I loved this little girl...she kept me on my toes for sure! She was active as can be...but I watched and waited for those "moments"...or should I say split-seconds! LOL!

We'll be seeing this little one in print ads for sure very soon! :)

Random!

Just some random stuff to share today---a bit of this and a bit of that!

1. SITES UPDATED. Yes! We've updated our sites for the new year. Check out www.terifode.com. The splash page is new, the Main Site has had a make-over with a new opening slideshow and new photos in galleries and in all menus...the Wedding/Engagement Site is NEW NEW NEW (!!!), and the Commercial Site is so so so so close to going live! Watch for new updates on the Senior Site coming soon soon soon! It's a FRESH new year and we felt like a FRESH new updated look :) I love the fresh-start feel of a fresh new year! So much in store for this year---stay tuned!

2. CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Mark and Gina---I was right. IT'S A GIRL! Can't wait for the newborn baby session coming up soon! Mommy is posted below, next to the last photo. Pink pink pink! Love girlie colors and girlie baby things. (But then, I love boy colors and boy baby things too. Babies babies babies!)

3. THANK YOU and update: to the overwhelming response to the 2008 workshop later in the year...I'm still getting emails weekly and will have to regroup with the larger-than-expected reponse. (For pros only---outside of a 200 mile radius of Sacramento---basics in my post processing, direct sun-lighting techniques and available lighting techniques, modeling and on-location shoots, building a successful photography business. This is NOT a studio lighting class or how-to-use-your camera class). For those that are double-emailing making sure we have your name on the email list, please be assured that if you have received a reponse from our business email saying "Thank you we will respond soon", you are on the list. Info to go out to our mailing list with details in the spring. THANKS AGAIN!

4. INSPIRATION: I get a ton of emails with people/photographers/clients asking me what "inspires me" in my work. I will have to say, first and foremost, my faith and relationship with God. Then, MUSIC! I love music...love listening to it while I'm in post-processing production at the computer. I listen to it in my car on the way to a session. Music sets my mood for a particular type of session I'm doing! I listen to contemporary Christian music, but also love "music that sets a mood" like instrumental music or the music on the website of Jesh Derox (great music to listen to when processing engagement photos!) www.jeshderox.com. Also, colors and textures inspire me in ANYthing like magazines, life, Pottery Barn and Anthropologie (just walking through their stores inspires me---the colors and textures make my head spin).
