Hot Summer Nights...

This couple is getting married in ONE MONTH!

When we did this engagement session it was so hot outside! But even if it was super cold...the love between these two was enough to warm the air! :)

I love doing engagement sessions...all I have to do is document the genuine love that I see between two people!

Lots of awesome images from this session...can't wait for you two to see the train/train tracks shots!!!

Family Sneak Peek!

These three sisters are gorgeous...and I loved the clothing, textures and accessory choices they made! A very fun family with so many photos that I can't wait to share with them!

But you only have to look at mom to see where the beauty comes from! This was such a pretty day in the park...I couldn't resist using the direct sunlight to highlight these beauiful women and their big smiles...

sneak peek for Lindsay!

What can I say...another beautiful young lady to grace the pages of our new Senior Website! She has the most piercing blue eyes and gorgeous smile!

Her home was the beautiful setting for her Senior Portraits...stunning grounds with waterfalls, roses, and the most beautiful entry/foyer...it made for a gorgeous "studio"!

So many more, Lindsay! Can't wait to share soon! I *told* you that you are photogenic! ;)

More...CARMEL-by-the-SEA

Dreamy...

When I booked the Carmel Sessions, my vision was DREAMY...as in, just strolling down the beach with the sea-breeze against your skin, the sea air filling your senses...

Yes, I'm an eclectic artist. You'll see many sides of my "vision", so to speak...these photos reveal the dreamy side of me that wants to capture "moments" and then create art out of life...

The sunlight can be pure magic...this is what I saw as I followed this family down Ocean Avenue towards the white sandy beach at Carmel-by-the-Sea...a little angel:

And these, well, they're what I call dreamy-by-the-sea...

The most wonderful part of these sessions for me was this: THE PURE MAGIC and DIFFERENCE of each one depending on the TIME OF DAY THEY CHOSE THEIR SESSION!

As professional photographers know, it's all about the light...and as you can see, the morning time (the Senior session) gave a soft dreamy glow and is different than the middle of the day (previous family) which had bright sunshine allowing vibrancy in the beautiful blues and aquas...and then the late afternoon (this session) gave cloud cover lending itself to creating dreamy and soft photos.

All families and people involved in these sessions (more to follow) have a unique flavor to their sessions! And for me, well, I'm an eclectic, remember? I love it all.

Can't wait to share this and all the Carmel sessions with the families/girls that booked these sessions! Soon, everyone! Next week begins the full previews for all of you!

Another fun Senior Session---on a great, cool morning in Sacramento! The sun was bright but the breeze was awesome...and Amy was such a great sport!

She loved the images on the Senior Site that had glistening sun in the hair so I was sure to shoot lots of those...here's a sneak peek of one plus a couple of other shots that show what a pretty young lady she is...

A few news items!

Such a fun session!

Okay---this Senior wanted a UNIQUE session. And that's exactly what she got! Where else besides Carmel-by-the-Sea can a Senior get her Senior Portraits taken underneath a TIFFANY'S sign and then just a few short steps further be on the BEACH?? ONLY in Carmel---strolling down Ocean Avenue! ;)

Okay...I could seriously post TONS of images from this session right now but these few are just to hold mom and K. over until her Preview Session...there are so many fun, colorful, awesome images from this session! I had a hard time choosing just a few to show!
